JULIET SCHULER
Juliet's journey to fine jewellery began in New York, inspired by her Italian grandfather's entrepreneurial spirit and her grandmother Dolores, an intrepid traveller who collected extraordinary jewellery from exotic destinations. After building a successful career crafting campaigns for global brands, Juliet's creative journey through Paris, Amsterdam and London deepened a long-held fascination with craftsmanship, colour and form.
NITESH MITTAL
Nitesh continues a century-old family legacy in gemstones that began in Jaipur's markets in the late 1800s. Apprenticed from a young age, he learned the disciplines of sourcing, cutting and grading from family experts and collectors. With DVAAR, he wanted to build a brand that could blend rich heritage with modern design, creating jewellery that embodies artistry and enduring allure.
Where Two Worlds Meet
When Juliet and Nitesh met, they recognised in each other a shared vision—to create a portal between East and West, heritage and modernity. Juliet brought her understanding of luxury's new language: the desire for pieces that tell stories, that connect to something deeper than status. Nitesh brought generations of expertise and access to craftspeople whose skills have been passed down through centuries.
Together they envisioned a brand that would honour ancient traditions while speaking to the modern collector. And so DVAAR was born.
